Are you guys running different hub extensions?

you can run the chevy 3/4 ton front hubs on the front, and they will tuck. the 3/4 ton hubs suck them in like 6 inches.

Is the 3/4 ton hub a non dually hub?

Until I can get this hub thing figured out the front is as low as it will go. The rear however is linked and it will "should" lay out but I will not know until I get some sheet metal out of the way... it used to lay frame, so tubbing the firewall is gonna be a must here!

It looks like I am gonna loose turning radius with shorter hubs on... I have to spend the money to figure it out, I am calling that "the hard way"

Lock says, he just shortened his lower control arm but I dont know what tires he is running. I am running 295/35/24... they are not tucking so well. The ONLY way i got them in my fenders without cutting was by pushing in the camber adjustments on the uppers.

My truck had all stock suspension on it. We took the fenders and raised them up for lug nut clearance. The only thing we did on the control arms was correct the balljoint angles on them. My tires were also close to 2" shorter than yours too.

When we put the 3/4 ton hubs on your bodystyle truck, we end up lengthening the control arms around 1.5" to push the wheels out to the fenders and get some of the turning radius back.

You can also take your dually hub off the front (if it is the style that unbolts) and get an idea of what you are looking at work wise.

Lock, what size tires are you running on the front?

I actually tried taking the front hub extension off, I found out that mine does not unbolt.

Other information...
My buddy found out, the 96 dodge hub extensions are about 4.5 inches instead of 6. That is about the "money" length. I need to figure out if I can run these on a hubs that can have the hub extension removed. Also, an after thought... the hub bore could be an issue.

I had 255/30/24s on mine. Hub bore would be an issue but you can have your adapters or the hub machined to your needs since it is off the truck.
