Well, i got that customers shock situation figured out for the arms i produced. He was using a shock with a stem style mount, and it was very difficult to get it to work right in his application. I sent him a few new tabs, and got them welded on, now hes good to go!

He forgot to mention that he was using a stem style shock hahahaha.

question on the 3/4 ton hub swap. The rotor thickness is different from the one ton to the 3/4 ton . Did you have to swap out calipers , and or brake pads ?? What do I have to do to make 3/4 ton hub fit ? Already know I need to order extended control arms with this swap.

The rotor thickness I purchase from O reily auto parts are the same thickness whem it comes to brake pad mounting surface. The bearings between the two different hubs are thr same part number so ou can retain the one ton drop spindle with the 3/4 ton hub. Brake pads and calipers are the same too so no special partsvto buy.

If your thickness is different on your rotors. You should be fine. Bleed the brakes and top off the brake resevour. Similar to the 1/2 ton square body. Two different rotor thickness options but same camiper part number.

on my 2000 chevy 1 ton the rotor and hub are one assembly (do not unbolt from one another). To swap out the hubs to 3/4 ton hubs I would have to get the 3/4 ton rotor/ hub assembly. I looked up the style hub/rotor I have on Oreilly auto parts and the front rotor/hubs I have are part #-BD125471. What would I be replacing them with to make this work ???

I don't have a part number. Ill get one in the morning.

What I do is walk in and ask for "a 3/4 ton 8 lug non-dually hub for a 98 chevy 3/4 ton pick up."

They have two brands. The wagner brand is much more expensive then the best brake brand. Which is around 55 buck a piece.

isnt there a 2 piece drw front rotor and hub? so that way you dont have to use the drw rotors which are like 500 million dollars each?
It is like a 3/4 rotor with a hub adapter or something like that.

How do these joints work when exposed to the elements?
