Friggin, hell I got to get going on this beast! I got the front done, and I have to bolt up the upper plate with some 3/8 nuts and bolts tomorrow. I also have to finish weld the lower spring pockets back in. It took me two days of searching to find an 8" OD pc of tube steel with a 1/8 ID, so I could stick a 7" slam up front...and have some room around the sides.

I got the steel for out back and some new sawsall blades, so by Friday alot of that should be gone.

Man, I figured the front end would be one day tops, this is technically day 3 with all the binding, balljoint, tube steel, one inner fenderweel someone Macguyvered didn't wanna come out bullshit.

Geeeeeze, on to the back soon, got some more steel and crap, i'm going to wait to paint everything though, I really have to take this thing outside when it warms up and degrease it first.

Oh ya anyone have a part# on some shocks I could run up front, and out back? I usually get KYB's, so if you have a part# it would help out. If not I can always cross-reference another maunfacturers shocks...thx.

So what is going to hit first the frame or front crossmember?

looks good..I don't think you will be able to run spikes on the front though..

Perty sure it's going to hit the frame first. While I did manage to get it a little lower, I kinda took it easy...I can't put crazy stress on those balljoints. And I want to be able to run the spikes. They are about one inch from hitting the top of the fenderwell so I am pretty sure i'll be good to go. It looks lower than it actually is...i'll post side pics when I stick the tire back on next.

Sorry guys, I have been sick the last couple days, and we are now selling our house, thx to the wife. So I have been fixing all the little things around the house and working, and the trucks been fighting me again.

I have been spoiled at my other friends shop, he has another shop out back with a hoist, plasma cutter, and all that little shit you take for granted till you don't have it. It really slows you down when you have to use the creative juices to solve a problem that you could eradicate with a blast of a plasma cutter. Or buying two sets of jackstands, cause you no longer have a hoist to securely hold a vehicle.

In any case I owe my buddy big time for letting me take up this space in his shop the last month, so I am hoping to get all the big stuff done in the next week, and have her rolling by next weekend. Big man talk, lets see if I can back it up.

I got the top front bag mounts drilled and secured.

The lowers are hacked out, you can see my tube steel

This is my mouck up Airlift bag. These arn't what i'm going to use. The Slams don't "balloon" as much, so the 7" seems to have enough room around it to roll safe.

The rear end finally came apart, (I really just needed a bigger sledgehammer)

Now I am setting up my ride height, and tack-welding in the four link and notches over the weekend...hopefully.

I see from the pics that my suspension pieces probably aren't on their way here, are they?
