Yeah, I would imagine Chevy parts aren't a dime a dozen in europe. I tell the european guys the same thing when I'm working on my 93 525i daily driver.

Nice truck, get 8 valves by the way. Carefull where you mount the bags out back, especially with an 8"bag...not alot of space.

If you are running them off a link bar, no problem, but between the frame may be tight.

You should run that Oasis, beast of a compressor. Wire it up properly cause they draw a ton of juice from your electrical.

Put it on a 10 gallon tank...remember the 200/250psi blow off valve...that compressor will fill that tank in like 1 minute flat.

175 or 200 psi pressure switch?

I just have parts to build an Oasis. I'll probably run 175 psi or lower with this compressor. I pulled it off something at the junk yard, it looked newer. Oil was clean and it seemed to have good compression. Still it's unproven.

I like the idea of bag over axle, but I also don't want to cut the bed floor, so.... I might go bag behind axle with a triangulated 4 link setup. I haven't even taken any measurements yet. It doesn't have to lay frame.

What hits first, axle hitting the frame, or top of differential hitting floor of bed, or a 215 85 R 16 hitting the body somewhere?

Today I changed out the exhaust manifolds. The drivers side was cracked all the way around. The flange was the only thing holding it together. The passenger side was welded, poorly, and recracked. Anyways it sounds and runs alot better now. I swapped in a 3 wire O2 sensor and changed spark plugs while I was at it. Time to cross the old fingers and head to the smog shop. It smells like it'll pass.

Today I swapped interiors. Everything went alright, except the seat belts. The center belts come between the cushions on the 80, and on the 89 they come through a slot cut in the bottom cushion. The mounting holes are also a few inches apart. As it sits I have the 80 center belts in the 89 holes, which gives very little room to buckle. I'll figure something out.

Here's a few pics.

Thanks. That's the last time I want to swap interiors, but it was worth it.
