Thanks.

I see you have a 1st gen Econo. I have a 65 I'm setting up as a dragster with a ~625hp 408w, rollerized C4 with trans brake and tubbed rear with 325 50 15 drag radials. Skinnies up front. I've built everything for it so far. I'm hoping to finish it in 09, 2400 lbs with driver.

There are a few threads that have lots of pics and info on a body drop.

I'm actually stalled on this project. It's still basically stock. I haven't been working regularly enough to spend any money on it. Plans are changing too. I sold all my front end parts. I kept the air bags because I might still use them. I'm planning on a 6v53t swap with a RTO-6610 transmission. 10 speed overdrive. I have aquired a pair of axles, 3.08's in rear. It's a rockwell axle. I grabbed the front axle as well. Both are big 10 lug pattern. The front is just a solid beam. I have a set of nice steel 22.5's with 245 75 22.5's on them. I'd like to still run bags, but more for ride quality than the ability to go low. I'll set it up to run as close to stock height as possible, which will look low with the big tires. No more plans for a serious drop. It's going to be more of a work vehicle.

When I'm able to work on it again I'll keep this tread updated.

This truck is for sale. It's not going to pass smog without some work. I was bumped in the rear, not a terrible fix. Bumper, tailgate and bed corner, or just a whole bed might be easier if you find one cheap.

Trans and engine leaks, but has ok power, shifts ok. It's rust free.

It has working air horns on it from a small semi. Air tank and compressor in the toolbox.

$1100 OBO. It has to go. I'm out of work and need to move this thing. Make an offer.
