yea your temp sensor works like a choke and your speed sensor is also giving your ecm info but I can't remember what it relates to
the ecm is like a cop fallowing a drunk and if tha cop is busy dealing with a sensor thats out of wack all the other drunks are all over the road dose that make sens

Most FI systems compare inputs from the vehicle speed, engine speed, and / or throttle position sensors to calculate the timing map(s).
Fuel control is 02 sensor, manifold pressure or mass air meter, and throttle position. The coolant temp sensor turns the 02 control on (closed loop). Cold start, idle and full throttle are open loop (no 02 control).
You also lose 02 sensor function if there's an emissions-related fault in the system - CTS, 02, EGR solenoid.
I'm still learning about this GM EFI shit, but on paper it looks similar to Volkswagen's Digifant I system.

Yeah it get's 1 degree at ride height which is 5" and 11 degrees laid out.. and a lil positive at full lock.

hey I was reading on fullsize about the preheated o2's and made me start thinking so I went and bought a new one and it cured the way my truck was running it still runs like shit but not as bad I guess its a commen thing to burn up the preheated o2's because their always on the ecm never shuts them down

Ahh that's true I didn;t think about them running all the time.. Mine might be burnt up
