haven't done the rear yet. im waiting on brackets from the water jet.
basically im doing a simple 4 bar four link with a drag link. all four bars going forward between the rails. 2x2 .250 wall square tubing. nothing fancy, just functional, i have other toys for crazy suspension set-ups.

im not sure if im going to un the bags on the outside of the frame next to the tires, or put the bags on the bars for some extra lift. im still planning on towing with the dually, so i might go find some extra big bags for it and put them over the axle.

i think you have better riding comfort if you put them on the bars it seems from wat i can see from other builders the bags cant be tuned as whell over the axle there either too soft or too harsh

anyone ever tried a single helper bag on the center of the axle ?

true. on the bars they ride way better, the suspension fulcrum works the bag to its full potential, just as in the weight of the front end working the bag in the control arm. but if you put the bag on the bars and stress them to work properly and then hook up a fifth wheel trailer, there is no extra lift in the bags to lift that big goose neck.

also the weight of the dually in general helps the bags ride pretty nicely.

ive had a single huge semi bag over the axle in our old one tone chevy truck, not dually just reg cab long bed. works awesome, but now you add body roll, and need super stiff sway bar to make up for it.

what did you do with your pinch welds under the rocker? cut them off, bend them under?

i ask because i was hammering mine under, and what a pain in the *ss that is... maybe sawzall time..

a nice trick i heared is to cut away a little of the pinchweld at a time and hammer/weld the edges together before continuing they use this trick on raingutters on eurostyle cars too
think its 3 plates of steel comming together at that pinch so it will be hard to keep everything lined up any other way

im going to drag them off....
