yea i was thinkin that, but your an inch higher until you do that, and you'll hear it from everyone, and also it actually takes a bit to drag them off.

i feel im hi-jackin your thread, as long as you're cool with it, ill keep posting, i feel its a bit redundant to post another dually sfbd build..

i don't mind other people posting here. just don't turn my build thread into yours...

you should make your own build thread on here. this is a dually forum.(and you own a dually). it shouldn't matter if me or 10 other people on here are doing body drops . that is what this place is for. to share what we are doing with our trucks with others.

im not sure how/or what im going to do about the pinch just yet. i don't even have the cab mounted to the frame.. so i will cross that bridge when i get there....
and, even though it may not be possible to do drag the pinch off. it sounds alot cooler.

You still working on the dually?
sparkys-crewcab   +1y

yes sir..., kinda........., not really......

i've been mainly working on the red 83 c-10 my friend brought me. all im waiting on is for LMC to send a new dash pad (they sent the wrong one).
i have the dakota digital dash installed, and it is the shit !i lack running the fuel sender wires to be totally done with it.
i will get back on my truck after i get the 83 out of my driveway..i got to make some money , so i can buy some shit for my truck. not having a job sucks...

i haven't been able to do anything to my truck because the orange harbor freight grinder stopped working again for the second time.(and im lazy...lol).. good thing i bought the extended warranty for 6 bux. i walked in and they gave me a brand new one, no questions asked.. the body is maroon instead of orange . i think they are better quality ..

today i cut the drivers side c-notch out to match the passenger side i cut a few weeks ago...... i need to do a little more trimming/grinding to get them to match perfectly and get the angles worked out.. im almost there...

just trowing it out there ....... was it plugged in ?
seen a few cheap grinders broken here after we had to remove a stainless laundrychute ot of a old hospital we whent through a couple on all of them it was some plastic remote switch thingy inside that melted and streched so the switch in the rear of the machine didnt engage no more
it is hard to fix/remake the plastic part but you could replace the switch by sumting more solid sticking out the back of the grinder (no room on the side of the grinder unless you build it in the handle)

yes, the grinder was plugged in...lmao

it got very very hot and actually melted the plastic screws that hold the brushes in... it started smoking, and it quit. it wasn't going to be a easy fix..
