Theres no way my truck would even come close to fitting in my little garage at the house. The landlord was supposed to have cleaned the garage out for me when we first rented the house and never did. After months of waiting for this tiny garage to be cleaned out, have the doors fixed, and run electric to it I've gotten tired of empty promises. So I went out there last week and took it upon myself to throw all of his junk in the trash. Hopefully I can get the doors fixed and I'll run my own electric.

where i live you can within reason charge the homeowner landlord for repairs you do to his place youreself
within reason means stuff like broken electrics whall repair that was there when you moved in , most of the times they pay you the material cost and only a little for youre time

Well I just got back home to find that I don't have the Internet anymore....I guess after a year my neighbor finally got smart and put a password on his wireless connection lol. It's gunna take about 2 weeks to get the Internet hooked up at my house. Until than all I have is my phone. Damned neighbors and their secured Internet signals!!!

I don't have hardly anytime to work today, but my link bars got welded together and I got all of the bushing in. I've got to get my rear bags setup and the mounts welded on the bars. I'll try to get some pics when I set my rear bags up. After that I just have to get them primed and painted.
I made the bars as long as I could with the steel stock I had, and leaving enough to make my uppers the same size. I think their about 3' long.

I almost forgot to mention that I'm going to pick my engine and trans up today from the shop. I'm going to get it back in and finish my trans mount. Than the cab can go back on. I'm not quite done with the frame yet though.

Does anyone know what angle I should set my engine up at?? I think their supposed to lean back a couple of degrees but I can't remember and I forgot to check it before I yanked the engine and cut my trans mount out.

I'm going to try and upload some pics and a bit of progress I made today but I'm having to do it from my phone so if it doesn't work I apologize. I got my lower 4 link bars tacked into place this evening. I basically just got the truck at ride height and got the bars as level as I could. I welded some 1/4" walled 2x4 off the frame to mount the front side of the bars to. I still have to gusset, box the end of the rec tube, and finish weld everything but for now it's there.

Yes three degrees is the way to go, if you have the carb off put a small level on top of the manifold till its level front to rear direction, then check the out put angle at the back of the tranny, it should be around three degrees or so. Then match the rear end pinion angle to the tranny and you will not have any vibrations.
