youre choice you need to shim the gears all over when you switch them
trust me changing the hubs saves you a lot of headackes

Honestly man id just measure the rears and if there close to the same overall lenght id just use the dodge one since you gotta weld all the tabs on anyway.....and your gonna catch hell getting a hood on that thing...

Ya the hood is really going to suck. If I have to I'll run hood less to have the cummins lol.
Not sure about the rear ends yet. I'm going to take the dodge rear end out when I pull the engine and part the truck out but backing plate measurements show its about 3 inches wider than my dually read end. I may just end up narrowing the dodge axle. That might end up being the easiest way. I think I could narrow the dodge tubes and use the dually a me shafts.

with a 14 bolt you get a C&C when you add dually hubs to a single wheel axle
the face for the wheels are further in on the dually hubs

Hopefully I can get outside tonight when it cools off and get the rest of my frame welded up. I'm ready for all of this frame welding to be done. I'm sure my neighbors are to. My back yard looks like a junk yard right now lol.

I'll try to get pics of that truck, I have them somewhere. Its a 6bt running the dodge 5 speed. It just lays frame, not doors. The chrome molding and emblems are paint, not real. Just overall a beautiful truck.

I've seen those engine mounts before. I'd imagine I'll end up fabbing a set to get the engine as low and far back possible. Plus 250 bucks for a set of mounts that are probably only about a square foot of 1/4 inch plate is crazy lol. The gm trans mount would be nice though.
