It got dark before it cooled down a little tonight so I didn't get anything done. Ill post up some pix when I change them out hopefully tomorrow. It's his stock upper arms since he's running the MMW arms he didn't need them. I tried to pie cut my factory uppers and got a little carried away on cutting them.

Since the dodge donor is broke down anyway I might as well get it stripped down. Also I got a guy wanting to hopefully buy what's left of the donor. So that'll go a long way towards getting the dually done. Since I'm stuck in this damned rental house with no shop and a tiny back yard I'm kinda limited on how I can get this engine out of the dodge and into the Chevy with an engine hoist trying to roll on the grass. What a pain in the ass. I want a garage again this shit sucks. Makes everything ten times harder working outside.
I went out tonight with the intentions on getting the front end off of the dodge. After only being out there for an hour and sweating enough to ring my shirt out I decided to just get everything moved around and ready for tomorrow. We're supposed to have a bit of a cold front move through tonight so hopefully the heat index will fall and the humidity will die off a bit.
I took a couple of pix to show you guys how I arranged the two trucks. Once I et the engine and trans out I'll get them set in the dually and mocked up then tear it down and paint and finish weld everything. I'll be sure to take lots of pix of the tear down and how I mock it all up. It'll probably be a long process with the small amount of time I have everyday.

we have something here called stelconplates there slabs of concrete with angle iron around them and hookups in them to crane them in place , there usually used to make instand parkinglots or temporary roads to constructionsites , nice thing abut them is that there huge and can be removed afterward

use 3 of those in a line put a big sheetmetal gardenshed on top of it and hey presto instand garage , and you can take it with you when you move house too , just need to airate the ground under the plates after there gone and resod the grass

Man I bet it's expensive to get those things laid down with a crane lol. About as close as I'm gunna get to that is I think I'm gunna laid down a couple sheets of plywood to roll the engine hoist on.

seen them use a big digger or rubber wheel shovel for those too they have dimples in them with rebarb sticking through end to end that take hooks and chains
sizes are lxwthxh, 200x200x14 cm. 78.74 x 78.74 x 5.51 inch
weight, 1.344 kg 2960 pounds there like realy big fortified gardentiles
maibe you be able to make them on the spot using some steel rebarb angle iron and concrete ply and have the new renter worry about lifting them out of the yard

What about a cherry picker then you could put the trucks nose to nose lift the engine out of donor role the truck back and chevy in.

i guess he would do better with an a frame that fit lengthwize over the noses of the trucks that way he has the big wheels on the trucks themselves to move the chassis under the motor use a h beam and a small trolly and it doesnt matter how bad the surface on the ground is

Those cummins are heavy. You need 4 guys to move them on concrete! My international loader could pick up a 350 like it was nothing but i could only get a 6bt a inch off the ground
