Well being out of town for the holidays I got absolutely nothing accomplished on the truck. I did however realize that there is no way I can get a 4" or 5" exhaust pipe to exit any where under the body of this truck since the rocker sits on the ground. The only way I see being able to get the exhaust out from under the truck is with a stack. I thought about just dumping it under the truck but I really don't want all the sout from all that black building up on the under side of my truck. So I started looking around and figured out that new stacks are crazy expensive. Summit wants a few hundred for a stack system. I put my ear to the ground and luckily the next day my little brother called and scored me a cheap stack from another friend that works at Catepillar. I got it for $40 and was stoked about that. It's a 5" slash cut and I think there's probably about 5'-6'. I'm planning on just running it about flush with my cab.

could do a cutout through the bed?

^^^I agree i think a nice sculpted cut out in the bed or the rocker would look much cleaner, but thats just my .02 worth. You gotta build what makes you happy but I always thought it looks nice when some serious thought goes into designing an exhaust, especailly if the outcome looks very creative. By the way the progress on the truck is awesome! Love seeing them laid out for the first time.

I honestly hadn't thought of that. I wonder if I could do a raised spot in the bed over the axle and still make a useable goose neck ball on the bridge. I'm going to have to do some measuring. I wish there was someone local that could bend 4" and bigger tubing. Every where I go locally looks at me like I'm crazy when I ask them if they can bend 4" exhaust. I even had one guy tell me at 15th street muffler shop that "it's impossible to bend 4 inch or bigger tubing. The equipment to do so doesn't exist". I just kinda chuckled and walked out. Anyway thanks for the thought.
Guiltybydesign where is your new shop located on the west side?? I live over by the bus barn and would like to see what ya got. Are you open to the public or do I have to order everything online?? I also need a couple of custom cut flanges if you can do that. Might even be something you want to add to your catalog. Let me know.

He is open to the public he stocks a lot of tabs and bar ends and things of that nature

Something else to keep in mind is you can buy pre bent tubing in sections and different sizes from summit racing as well. I did that on my prostreet truck for the 3" exhaust, it was mandrel bent and worked awesome.

Where is the new shop at?? I've looked all over their website and searched google and couldn't find an address. I thought maybe it wasn't open to the public due to that. Trying to find their address has been like trying to locate Jimmy Hoffa lol.

If your on shifferdecker turn down 15th away from town about half a mile on your right you will see white buildings his is the second one

I've been Jimmy Hoffad again lol. You can't turn off of shifferdecker onto 15th either way. There's a big factory on the left side and a residential neighborhood on the right. I searched all over that area between 13th and 20th and no dice. If you circle around and get on 15th it's all just houses until it dead ends at a tv station building. About all I got accomplished was wasting a bunch of gas and taking a tour of a neighborhood.
