I forgot to mention that the new injectors are 280 HP injectors if I remember correctly. I don't have the info in front of me right now but I think that's what they are.
I'm trying to get this engine setup to make some decent power. I wanted a twin turbo setup but I just don't have the engine compartment space. So I'm going to just try to work towards 1 big turbo. I'll have some lag but I can deal with that. When I yank the engine back out I'm going to try and get all of my head mods done.

I'd be interested in buying your York if you decide that's what you want to do. I'm in need of a compressor and just getting ready to order mine but If I can make the York setup first then that is the route that I would prefer. Sorry to hear it won't fit. You've come such a long ways. Truck looks great.

Let me know if you are interested and you're asking price - just send me a pm - Not sure what all you have that goes with it but let me know.
Much appreciated sir.

I'll send you a PM about the york. It works great, I just cant run it.

Sorry everyone that has sent me PM's about buying the York. It's been sold to TulsaPrez.
Hopefully tomorrow I can get the rest of my trans and driveshaft tunnel done. It's taking forever trying to make it all rounded and a shape I'm going to be happy with under my carpet without having all of he tools I'm used to using. Working outside SUCKS!!

I don't like this cold shit either. I've been spoiled for to long being able to work in shops with plenty of space, nice new concrete floors, and either wood or oil heating. Hell a couple of them even had AC. This has kinda been a shock to my system having to do all of this outside. The part of it I don't like is working on the soft ground with only a 1/4 of my tools is hindering my abilities. So some of the things that are important to me I'm having to wait on till I can get the truck back to a nice level floor. I'll eventually get it done if it takes me another year though. It'll all be worth it in the end.
On a side note I've been kicking ass in school and learning a lot about spraying custom paints. Some of you guys that have been doing this for years please don't laugh at me lol, and the ones of you who have watched chip foose spray on tv and now think its easy...please let me know when you do your first candy job so I can be there to say I told you it wasn't that easy and laugh. I have been able to hold my own spraying stock colors and basic colors for years but not candies, pearls, and a lot of multicolored graphics and things like that. Tonight I laid down my first candy job I was really proud to say was mine. This is a panel I did all the work on getting straight and sprayed it with House of Kolor "Brandywine Kandy". Its a bit of a challenge to spray but it looks amazing and the candy properties of it I think are some of the best I've ever seen. This picture really doesn't do it justice but this is 3 coats of candy and about 6-7 coats of clear. Still needs cut and buffed.

Also I think I'm getting rid of my current daily driver shortbed for another toy/project. A guy came along and offered me a Vette straight across for it. I love the old truck but it's time for something new. I'll repaint the Vette if I get it and drive if till I get bored with it also.
This is the current daily driver. 300hp crate motor, 5 speed trans, 4/6 drop, 22"x10" rims.

This is the new car and an engine shot.

What do you guys think good trade or bad trade?? My master plan with the Vette would be to paint it and drive it till I can trade it for a good diesel to be the end game daily driver. Or should I keep the shortbox??

One of my buddies had a Corvette around that year, got it for a "sweet deal"... Complete money pit. Also you should check on the cost of insurance if you decide to get it. Twenty years ago I worked a Cadillac dealership making good money. I thought I wanted a Corvette, I could afford to buy a early 70s model, which was what I wanted, but the insurance was more than I wanted to pay. I'd pass on the Corvette & keep the truck.

Checking on insurance is a pretty good idea. I never think about stuff like that. I really just want the car because I think it will be a lot easier to get rid of than my truck in the area I live in and I'm really wanting another powerstroke or cummins daily driver.

definitely worth while checking out the insurance cost first. If it's not a big difference and the car is in good shape, would be a sweet trade. It looks nice at least!!

I called my insurance agent today. To my surprise he said my insurance would either be the same as I pay now or maybe even a little cheaper since all I run is liability. All of my vehicles are paid off so no need in having anything beyond that. If I wreck em I fix em anyway lol. Now on the dually I may get full coverage with a big added insured amount lol
