Well the chassis has been back at my shop for a day now. We got the engine and trans all decreased today. The control arms are coming back off now to finish the front end up. There was also some trimming I still had to do that I didn't do when I was doing the body drop. We took these pix whenever we first unloaded the chassis and got it pushed back into the shop. The only things left to do on the back is add 1 more shock stud, finish a couple welds when we roll the chassis upside down to paint, and add a couple mounts for the batteries, compressors, and fuel cell.
I also got a bunch of 4" diameter u bends and different angle bent pieces to get the exhaust made. So that'll be coming along before the cab goes back on. I almost completely forgot that the trans needed rebuild until today lol. I just started getting ahead of myself. Going to have to take a breath and slow down.
A lot of these pix are with the truck aired up. The back as it sits right now only takes about 30 psi to full lift lol. 3800 pound bags on the lower bars was a great idea.

As soon as the cab goes back on i'm going to need some nice thick insulation/padding and carpet and talk about getting the rest of it done as it I get areas done. The new floor has been welded, seam sealed, sprayed with undercoating, and is going to get dyna mat next. So with all of that some thick padding and carpet should make it pretty quiet going down the road I would think. We take a lot of long trips so as little interior noise as possible is a great thing.
My business partner was going to be doing the interior but I don't think he's to interested in doing it anymore. So shoot me a PM with your number and I'll shoot you a text about getting it done.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I can't wait to see this thing together either. It's been a long time coming.

We've got this thing in the shop grinding our ass' off. We've got everything all trimming up and starting to get it Smoothed out. Finishing up the control arms also. About to bolt the new uppers on and get them pie cut. Won't be long we'll be spraying it and setting the cab on.

Anyone have any recommendations on a dyna mat type of sound dampening material?? I'm not trying to spend a load of cash on sound deadening material. I recall some of you guys a while back mentioning some cheaper alternatives that actually worked and we're cost effective as well.

we have used both FatMat and ZillaMat before with good results.....both are alot cheaper than DynaMat and can be bought on Ebay i differant size rolls

fat mat is great for the price. I've also bought peel and seal from lowes and it worked pretty good. Not all of the lowes stores stock it though.
