I had enough time to get the engine and trans pulled out tonight. I'm going to get some sleep and wake up in the morning to pull the cab off. As soon as the cab's off we're going to do the Z. I'll be sure to post more pictures tomorrow night.

Well I got the cab off yesterday. It took a lot longer than i would have liked. we ended up having to cut 1 off the cab mount bolts off. i made a jig that bolts to the cab floor in the seat belt mounting hole and the front 2 seat mounting holes and the hoist picked it right up. This morning we have to try and get the cab moved out of the garage, and I'm going to try and get the Z started before I have to go home.
I think the best news from the weekend of work though is I finally got a York. It's not a 210. It's only a 209, but I traded a cheap Viair knock off straight across for it. I think I got a pretty good deal on it lol.

Well it took a lot of the day figuring out a way to get the cab moved outside until the frame work gets done. We probably should have thought about that before we took it off of the frame lol. Anyway it's outside now so next time I get to make it to the shop I can start on the frame work as soon as I get there. I'll post a picture of the JIG I made to pull the cab from the floor in a couple of hours. It made life a lot easier than trying to push it up from the headliner or have a bunch of people pick it up.

awesome man.. id like to see the jig you setup..and since you got the cab off, just load it up and send her here..you can "store" it right on my frame lol

Here's a couple of pictures of the JIG I built to pull the cab from the floor pan.

It's not the prettiest thing I've ever built, but damn it works well. The front hoist point with the red D ring in it is the point we ended up using to pick it up. The place on the back just wouldn't pick the front up fast enough. Hope this helps some body. It definitely made life a lot easier than trying to lift from the roof with lumber.

Just sold a motorcycle for a few grand today, and I have no plans next weekend but working on the truck. Looking like I'm going to get some real progress done next weekend. Going to get the rest of my suspension parts ordered by Monday and get any steel stock I might need to finish the truck picked up Tuesday.
