bagging & body droping a 81 crew cab Dually & cummins swap

got the 1/4 in plate on one side all done and welded up just have 3 more sides to do i made some plug holes to weld in the more i have to weld to the better im off im going to be ill take some more pics tomorrow

the z is about 90% dont just need to fill in the last of the plug welds and do some grinding and the z will be finished

Question- how low you going? Didn't think you needed that much Z using the Dropmember. Planning to drag the doors?:)

well they make 2 dropmembers 1 is the one for the c 10 and a mild dropmember for the c-30 i talked to them on the phone and they said i would still need to z it 4 in to lay rocker and i was all rdy thinking about that they better be right because this z is build like fourt knox hahaha

not as of yet man just waiting for my front cross member and my a-arms to come in i cant wait and been really busy with linemen school for my new job i have 6mo of schooling with out pay and 7 weeks of intern with pay so i can make some money and i had to pay over 4000 that i was going to use to buy my semi rims with for school so that sucked but ill make good money when i get in

It sucks right now but it'll all be well worth it in the long run. I was just curious how it was going. I haven't made much progress either so you still have a good chance to beat me done lol.

hahaha i wouldnt be to sure of that now im thinking about not going with a ls1 and going with a 24v Cummins or the 12v ill be towing a 2 car trailer gas would just kill me
