I wish my fabrication was half as nice as yours! It is a pleasure to see your build progress. It has given me lots of ideas on what I can do with this ride.

Most of my stuff is just functional and not for display, but I try to build it strong enough so I can use this as a real truck and not have to worry about breakdowns and part failures.

Finally got out to the shop tonight and caught up on some work on the rear end. I did the finish welds on the rest of the rear frame, tubes, and the plates that are boxing the rear rails in. Hot no fun work, but there you have it

I also got the rest of the upper cross tubes welded in. I still need to do the fab work on the front portion of the frame rails that are going to get boxed in. So I have to cut those out tomorrow and get them welded in.

Once all this welding get completed I am going to go back and clean up all the welds and grind them down in preparation for primer and paint.

The pictures don't show much, but there was a ton of welding wire spooled out tonight!

Just finished fabricating the front frame boxing plates. This now ties in the kick up and the old frame rails. One more item checked off the long list!

Now it is on to the 4 link, and getting the rear end wrapped up. I am so ready to have the rear end finished and get to the front end fabrication.

Got to work on the truck today. First thing I did was put the old Dually rear end under the donor suburban. Now that truck is back on 4 wheels and can be rolled around, soon to be put on the back of a flat bed and hauled off to the bone yard! However I am going to be taking the spindle assembly off it first for use on the Dually. Ok then it can go off to the crusher...

Next I pulled the watts link arms off and painted them up. I also put some primer on the frame notch to keep any rust at bay.

So much left to do, but at least some items on the list got checked off, and I can now roll the donor vehicle out of the way.

Yeah I just picked up a cab not to long ago. I plan on building it similar to that.

Ok I needed something other than the dually to work on and I saw the below picture on Facebook. So seeing that I dig dirt bikes as much as trucks I needed to build my own! I know it is not about the dually, but trucks and dirt bikes go hand in hand. I actually need this wagon to haul tools for dirt bike trail work. it will come in handy with the bigger tools we normally cannot take with us.

Here is my progress so far. I still need to complete the rear suspension. I have all the parts lined up so it should not take me too long to complete it.

After I am done I will get back on the truck, I promise...
