Awesome build. I have two duallys right now. One I'm currently working on a 2WD to 4WD conversion with 12" lift and 40" semi wheels. And my next build is just like yours so I can park the lowered one under the other at car shows. One question is did you have to remove 1" in the front when you dropped the front horns to compensate for the 1" added in the "Z" so the frame wasn't to long for the front clip from fire wall to core supportmounts? Thanks for all the great pics. they helped witha lot of the questions I had sense it will be my first bagged build. Keep us posted.

To answer the question for him, yes. You would have to subtract that inch back in the frame horns.

My question is one inch enough? Or would you move it more if qiven the chance to do it over?

Sorry, haven't been on here in a while... But to answer your question, 1 inch was not enough and I should have went more. Nothing too serious, but they're still not perfectly centered when layed out.

As for progress on the truck, it has slowed lately due to some other projects in the garage, but I'm hoping to start chopping up the floor/firewall very soon and getting some sheetmetal work going.

Would you say 1 1/2" or 2" forward would be safe to do? Will be drawing everything out tonite or tomorrow

It's hard to say... 2 inches would probably be perfect when the truck is layed out, but then they might look a bit too far forward when it's lifted.

did you guys ever considered mounting the front A arms at an angle the rear mounting higher than the front
that way the wheel moves back when the truck is going up prolly wouldnt mess the geomitry up as mush as long as you angle both A arms the same way .
