Ok here's what I've got for the front...I really hate the way the front crossmember looks and the old spring pockets were rusty as fuck, so I decided to build my own ends that give me more room for the bags and look much better. They actually sort of resemble the rear bridge.

After a bunch of measurements and templates, I had by pal burn me out the top and bottom plates

Then started tacking it up with a piece of 5" pipe in there as well

Coming together

I was working away so good that I didn't snap any pics of them welded but they turned out pretty nice I promise. After more measuring, it was time to cut the old ends off

Scrap metal

And here it is all welded, metal finished and installed in its new home
thread post photo

Once again I didn't take any pics of just the crossmember before I bolted it back in... I also chopped and "spruced up" the bracket that the upper control arm bolts to... Not sure if I like it enough to keep it as is or make some new control arm mounts

Another shot with the bracket on

Next up is to pocket the lower arms and bolt everything up as a roller so I can push the frame out into the driveway for some full pics as well as give the shop a good clean out... I've decided to make my own upper and lower arms but I don't have the time right now before I show it off at vanfest in about a month. When I do though, I'll be selling the pocketed lower and pie cut uppers if anyone is interested down the road

i might be at vanfest this year with my daily driver, i'd deffinetly be interested in the arms for my 88 if they end up going forsale in the future

Truck is coming along great so far leading up to our local show this weekend (vanfest) Not gonna post any pics of the truck but here's a few teasers of some parts...

Finally ordered tires and got em all mounted up...
thread post photo

Walked into a smokin deal on these hard to find gems (up here anyways) today so I couldn't pass them up.
thread post photo

I've got a ton more to show but not till after this weekend. Anyone local, come on out to the show and say hi...

Ok time to update this bitch...here's from where I last posted pics...

Was gonna pocket the lowers with a large piece of pipe but I was having a hard time finding some locally and I was in a hurry so I just went ahead and did em this way
thread post photo

Cut out
thread post photo

One tacked, one welded... Pocketed 2.5 inches
thread post photo

Lots of welding into these things
thread post photo

With about 2 weeks before vanfest I decided that I wanted to take the truck in its current state with the cab on so people could see what kind of truck it was. So I needed to finish welding the entire under side of the frame before we dropped the cab on.
thread post photo

Spent nearly 2 days welding and metal finishing the rest of the frame
thread post photo

All welded and ready to reassemble the suspension
thread post photo

Lower arms and bags in
thread post photo

Pie cut uppers... This is also when I bought all my tires
thread post photo

Onto the rear, I needed to finish welding all the brackets attached to the axle. I stood it on its ends so I could weld everything in 1 pass rather than any out of position welding with stops and starts
thread post photo

Back under the frame for reassembly. All the welds turned out beauty
thread post photo

Wheels and tires mounted and we've got a full roller
thread post photo

Ready for the cab
thread post photo

Ready for the frame... This fuckin things been sitting in my driveway for nearly 8 months!
thread post photo

Going back on! (This is only 4 days before the show)
thread post photo

Boom!... Back on and layed out for the first time... To say I was excited would be an understatement
thread post photo

Big time junk in the trunk
thread post photo

I wanted to put the front end back on with the bumper so I finally got around to dropping the front frame horns
