Here's what I had to work with on the front... The only rust on the entire frame

Then I did a bunch of grinding and trimming....

Then I got tired of trying to come up with a way to make something nice out of what was there so I said fuck it!

I ripped the whole crossmember out so I can work on it on the bench...

I'm gonna cut off both ends and rebuild them with nice clean metal with my own bag mounts. I'll raise them up a bit to minimize the depth of the cups on the lower arms.

I also got the machined parts back for the watts link so I tigged them up... It's been over 2 yrs since I last got on the end of a tig torch and boy do I ever miss it!... I'm happy with the way they turned out.

Looks aweomse those are some super clean looking watts pcs. THe speed dimples or whatever you want to call them add soem serious style to them.

Here they are all welded and metal finished. I didn't stop to take any pics of the welds, but I can assure you they were just as aweful as the rest...haha

why the heck do you have brass knuckles on youre workbench ?
