Well, with it being terribly cold the last few weeks and me just getting over the flu, needless to say the garage has been neglected for the better part of a month now. Nothing to update yet for that. I did however get a rendering going of the direction I'm thinking for the final product. This is just a sneak peek...
Still gonna get tweaked here and there as well as some sort of stripe/graphic to separate the colours. Trying to keep it clean and classy ya know?!

Ok here's some updates!...
I finally finished modifying the rear bridge
Here's the comparison of the before and after
Drilled holes in the frame for the airlift dominator 2600
Here you can see how they're gonna mount as well as the bottom plates
Got some parts cut out and also some goodies to start building the watts link
Start of the lower axle brackets
Welded up... I had to cut them down 1/2" because I wouldn't be able to get the 4link bolts out
Coming together
Here you can see that the bolt will just barely clear the bag bracket
Now time for the watts link... I wanted to do something different than the typical setups you normally see so I've put the centre pivot on the frame side of things rather than on the axle. From my reading, this is actually a better way of doing it because the roll centre stays in one spot rather than changing with the position of the axle. First up is to make the watts crossmember

Next up was to drill a hole in the middle for the centre pivot sleeve
Here's the crossmember tacked in with an idea of how the pivot is going to be

lookin good man! i like the idea of using that bushing for the pivot point on the watts setup!

Small update... Still working on the watts setup
Beveled the opening for the pivot sleeve so that I can still achieve an effective weld after sanding it flush
All smoothed out with the pivot bushing in
Made some mock up links
made an attempt to cycle things out but need to make a few changes so new links are being machined up right now... Hopefully I can get those soon and get this wrapped up
