Ok, finally got to squeeze some time in after the holiday chaos. I left off where I wasn't really happy with the way the frame rail ran straight through the large outer hole. I had suggestions to cut out the entire frame rail in there, and i know that would look the best, but I really wouldn't feel comfortable strength wise. So, I came up with a compromise where I'd still have some frame in there, and visually it would flow with the rest of the crossmember... Anyways, I know everyone likes more pics
Frame cut!
Trimming everything to fit
Tackin filler plate back in
Top of the frame plated back up
Main crossmember finally in for good and smoothed out

Small filler plates tacked in
Coming together... You can really see how it's going to look...eventually there will be 2 bolt holes in the top of the frame rail for the bag to mount underneath
There we go... One side all cleaned up and metal finished
Another shot... Still have to finish the other side up
I'm happy with the way it's looking.
