I would definatly recomend not just droping the torsions. Just save up the cash and buy some spindles or lower control arms or flip the ball joint. They ride like shit with just the torsions turned down. The shocks and the leafs (mono or dearch) will be good. You can go anywhere from a 1" drop and down when your doing a static drop. The only difference is price and ride quality.

Try your local shops for the parts or try . They are in Canada and in Canadian dollars. There prices are good on most stuff and you don't have to worry about high shipping and duty.

Lol... I think for now as I'm just starting I will do legal mods to prepare for the bags later. I'm restoring the whole body work a little on the engine then by the time I'm done all that I will have the cash for bags and I will also have been a driver for a bit.

But don't worry, I will some time...

My cuz has a 86 mazda b2000 he went and got hobbist plates (in wisconsin) on his truck and then modified everything and had it inspected for safety they check that all the lines are ok and that the susppension aint going to snap and welds ect they sat there with two inspectors for like an hour just doing random stuff and passed him with his passed inspection he went to Allstate and they gave him full coverage no argument even with a notched frame and bags they recorded it all and let him on his way i think he pays somehwere around $1000 a year and thats only because hes 18 has two speeding tickets in the last year and crashed his first car when he was 17 into a street pole (not his fault tho its was snowy outside and a car cut him off he just slid).
one nice law in wisconsin is you dont have to have car insurance to drive. but if you get into a crash whether its ur fault or not its illegal if you dont so basically there saying go ahead drive without insurance we dont care but if you plan on getting into a accident you have to have it. lol
