just because you use 2.5"x2.5"x1/4" wall doesn't change the fact that when you corner that your rear is going to move side to side. when it is sitting still and you raise and lower it you will not see the axle move due to the fact that it is the bed and frame moving while the axle is stationary and heavier on the ground. that is not equivelant at all to a panhard built into your setup. all that is doing is connecting the 2 links together, it is doing very little if any for the side to side action on the axle. i like max and he is very knowledgable seeing as how he has been to college and studied this stuff more than anyone here. therefore i give him the utmost respect in suspension geometry, but he even compared your setup to a quad or an atc which are about 1/5 the size of your truck and usually aren't getting cornered on the highway like your truck will be. but hey, even though it wasn't in writing it is still the answer that you want and because max said it i am sure it is ok, right? even though he doesn't even condone the use of 2 links.
like i said before your work looks awesome and you are using some very beefy material (even though you could get away with smaller round stock instead of the huge square stock, round is stronger) it is just that the geometry is where you are lacking. i have been working on helicopters for the last 9 years, i may not have gone to school for suspension geometry but i think i know a little about how things move and react. helicopters have a lot more moving parts than a trucks suspension and i will tell you that without a watts link or something similar you will get side to side movement. just because you don't see it while it is sitting still doesn't mean that it is not happening while you are driving. good luck with your build and i hope that you will take all this info in a positive way and open your mind to what people are telling you.
