Not bad looking upholstery work. I like the color layout - looks like the an interesting paint scheme . As for the latch/handle/crank - yes, a darker color would look better. Maybe not black but like a charcoal. Then they would not stand out but also would not dissapear.

my mom's first forte in upholstery, if I could run a sewing machine, I'd have done it myself, should match the paint scheme pretty well, just don't have the $$, know how or facilities to paint it myself, not that I'm skeerd to paint or learn to, just it cost a butt load for the mat'l & I really don't like throwing $$ away....(wait a minute, I've been doing that for 5-6 years now, lol haha!!)....not a bad idea 'bout the latch/handle/crank linn, I may see if I can match the grey fabric for something so they don't fade into the background, we'll see....

Been a little slow since my son was born, job etc...I've swapped out the side drafts for a 38 downdraft, just need to get it tuned in & finish the interior, going to try to get it painted w/in the next month or so...
have even considered selling it to make room for my new toy ('12 GT500)
in the garage.....as bare minimum I need it running so I can keep mileage off of the toy due to my drive to & from work!

Ryan, did you ever get the fastback running? wasn't it a GT350-H?

Awesome man, congrats on the kiddo and the new GT500. I had a 65 Mustang GT350H replica when I was in high school. My dad bought it for my first car when I was 14, it took us 2 years to completely restore it. I drove it until I was 17 and then went into the Marine Corps. When I got out I had dreams of redoing everything again because the engine blew right before I went in the Marine Corps....I was a kid with a lead foot lol. Buttt, my dad sold it before I got a chance to do anything with it again. Can't say I blame him, he got $6500 and it had set for 6 years out on his 40 acres and by the time he sold it, it was in worse shape than when we got it originally. I just hope someone fixed it up! Right now I am throwing tons of cash at the 83 getting everything on it replaced and making it a daily driver/show/shop truck lol.

Kool man, I couldn't remember the exact jest about the 'stang...the b2k looks sweet, it's come along way since I last saw it. I hope you get it where you want for a daily driver/show/shop truck!

Thanks man, I'm working on it lol. Everything has been or is getting replaced. Bobby at Sadistic Iron Werks is in the process of building my control arms with uniballs, I just had the engine rebuilt, went through the tranny again, replaced the front seal and gear oil in the rearend, all new brakes, new 480 compressors, new 8 1/2 gal aluminum tank, moved all 8 valves in teh cab to help in the winter time to keep from freezing and I am running the dump lines outside the cab, running all copper tubing for airline, dynamatting everything, spray in bedliner on the cab floor, and the list goes on and on lol. Here is the rendering
