what mods do you wish you would have never done ?

what mods do you wish you would have never done ? i put a flow master and duel tailpipes on my truck today and already regret it .i was trying to just make mine modern and functional with out drawing attention and now it's so loud that everybody just stops and looks at the noisy bumble bee.

i learned from my last truck. never do shaved door handles on a daily.

Haha, don't know about the bumblebee sound, but I agree lol. Looking to quieten mine down one day.

Other than that, my advice is for people not to mod their engines until they have to. You're not going to get much power gain, and honestly, you can..and probably will...open up a can of worms that just won't go shut.

I would have not bagged mine until i had all the money to finish it the way i want. Now its just sitting there waiting for me to get back to it when i could be enjoying it daily.

I learned my lesson not to do a 6 inch body drop from my experience with my last truck. also shaved doors are a pain with a daily, thinking about new doors so i can have them back.

yes the doors, would not shave on a daily dont think i would do the suicide door on a daily ether...i want my normal doors back

Ok got a question. Never have had shaved doors on anything and have a set on the truck I am working on now. More then one person has said it on here and I have heard it before but never heard exactly why its a pain. What's the deal? And how often is it a problem?

i would say not all the time is it going to be a problem, but when you get locked out of your truck cuz your battery went dead or the battery's in your fob are dead its a BIG problem..and for me its more of the pima, to always have to get im my pocket get my keys out hit the button, put what ever it is im holding down pull the door open and get in...now ya theres just as many steps to unlock a normal door but you dont have to weary if your battery is dead and have to bust out a window to get in...

You can take the rear window out to get in, if you have done it before, it only take minutes to do. but that is providing you dont have a system blocking it. Also you can do a safety pull cord to get in, problem here is someone can see you do it and get in your truck. If you dont have poppers then you have to leave a window down to get in, rain can make this suck bad. I have a key lock still on my drivers door, to get in with, but keys break with this mod and is chancy. Actuators go out, and when you see smoke rolling out of your door, they first instinct you do to save it is break a window, pop hood and disconnect the battery. So it does make it easier to have regualr doors. Also you know how annoying it is to have to reach over and open the pass door every time someone gets in when windows are up??

Ok, will NOt shave doors lol...nor tailgate, as I use mine often and have a bed cover on. Not completely sure of bagging my daily either. Still wrestling with that one.
