Don't get me wrong, When on smooth pavement I can roll very low. I just like having the abilty to lift up for problems.

i have 55series on my 16 and its just too big. im looking into some 205/40/16s off discounttire.com for like 60 a piece. and i've started clearing my inner fenders so i can remove them, and maybe get some trailer fenders welded in up front... hello clearance for my tires...

Yeah I see I will have to go smaller for sure. Price I've seen on discount and others is around $80 a piece. Not bad. Like $220 out the door. Going to check with some other local shops and see what's available. Don't plan on cutting the fenders unless I bag it though. I ran 205/50/15's and was dropped lower with no probs on rubbing. A 205/40/16 is just a hair shorter so it should be good...I wouldn't want to be much lower than I was then for drivability.

this is true... i want slammed on my nuts low, and with 4wd isuzu shocks, bump stops up front removed, bj flip and reindexed torsions, i currently rub my tires on my inner fenders... especially at decent speeds and hitting a good dip in the road causes tire rub. removing my fenders and/or having some trailer ones welded in will definitely stop that problem...

Hahahaha that's awesome! I have to say I only ride that low bout 85% of the time. I remember that wearing out tires aint that cool. Ask Justin how it rides, we rode to the store during the show. As far as blowing bags or lines goes, I've been bagged 3 years and not had an issue (except for this past weekend. Line blew off the train horns and dumped my air. Should have installed a check valve. I patched it with a spark plug and a hose clamp and made 2 more draggin passes haha) its all in the install and planning ahead. I will say you gotta find a happy medium on the valve speed. Too fast and you can't find ride height. Too slow and you can't pick it up over road debris or roadkill.

And TOP of the list of things I regret........ALWAYS buy wheels first and build around them. If not you will end up cutting again or rebagging. And in my case put a lot of time into front fender wells to go bigger and rub them.

I'm with Rick on this one. It is easier on you if you drive a bagged daily.you don't have to plan your trip or worry if you can get into a parking lot. There's nothing worse than getting lost and having to make a u-turn on a shitty road with a dirted daily. Many years ago I actually went around and wrote down what hotels had good flat parking lot entrances while on a trip to Myrtle Beach so that next time I wouldn't have any issues.

Yeah, I agree with you both, and see where ya both coming from. Still planning on bagging Mikey don't worry. Heck, not even that concerned about cutting the bed anymore really. We'll get together one day and figure it out.

This pic was the ride height in my 720 ALL the time. I never hit anything except really big bumps. Keep in mind it's not BD'ed, so there's frame lower than the rockers still...

I've had 6 bagged dailies over the years, and I've never had a problem big enough that left me stranded anywhere. If your setup is installed properly you shouldn't have problems with valves, or bags blowing. I have a pair of bags that's been on 3 different trucks. lol

For the people talking about shaved handles. For the back up you should have a cable release on a barrel lock hidden somewhere. So even if someone sees you, they don't have the key for it.
