Okay guys I'm getting serious about bagging my truck here within the next few months (when it starts getting warmer!) but I have a few questions... In your opinions is a bagged daily a good idea? I know it all depends on the quality of the bags and what setup I go with and shit like that but if there's any of u that run daily driven (or dragged!) trucks and have any pointers for me that would be super helpful. I plan on running a 3 link rear suspension with bag over axle and running stock control arms (Lca's triangulated for shock mounts)

Do you have another vehicle just in case? I use to drive a bagged truck daily but it was my only vehicle. I regretted doing it later because I was rushed to get everything together in order to drive to work the next day.

It can certainly be done but I recommend having a spare vehicle because it just adds to the things that can go wrong and prevent you from getting to work on time.

Also since this is your daily I recommend buying good quality parts, and think of backup plans like having a spare compressor, spare bag, or even schrader (sp?) valves inline.

I don't know what your budget is like but plan on 2-3k. All of the little things really add up when bagging a vehicle.

I ran a bagged daily for a year or so, make sure to drain your tanks and have water traps

Thanks man yeah I have to save some money and shit I plan on buying everything in advance and I also plan on getting a cheap little car to drive while the truck is down... (plus I got a 15 yr old stepson that needs a car so I could kill two birds with one rock!) I don't want to rush it any I just want to get started amassing parts and shit. Plus I still need to find someone to do the welding for me (that'll cost me!) I can weld but when it comes to cutting and welding frame/suspension components I want someone who knows their stuff...

Sorry didn't mean to make it look like SP, I was just to lazy to check the spelling.

Schrader valves are good to have inline mainly for emergencies.

If all else failed you could manually pump up your truck as long as the pump can go up to enough PSI.

Your local bmx shop would probably have a manual pump up to the job.
