I am using Slam Re-6's in the front, and Re-7's in the back.
Just a word to the wise, bag on bar rides better than bag over axle. If I had to do my link setup again, I would definitely do B-O-B.
Front-Back setups will cause more body roll. I had 8 valves on my S10 for FBSS, but I have 6 valves on the Mazda because I don't care to hit sides anymore, so the rear bags are Tee'd. But I definitely prefer to have individual control of the front bags. I guess it's just personal preference. I feel it handles better.
As for tank size, it really depends on how switch happy you are going to be. If you plan on hitting switches all the time, I'd want at least 10 gallons. If not, a 5 gallon would be fine. You'll probably want 1 electric compressor per 5 gallons. I run 2 Viair 380's on a 7 gallon.
Engine Drivens are awesome. I had one on my S10. They are quiet and pump a lot faster than electric. It will take some fabricating to get it to fit somewhere in your engine bay. They are reliable if you check the oil and don't burn it up. But I'd either want a shrader valve to air up at gas stations if needed or a backup electric compressor on the truck as well.
Fittings are something you need to figure out at the end after you figured out where you will be putting all of your valves. I prefer Push-to-connect, DOT approved fittings. Compression work well too, but are more of a pain in the ass IMO.
I run 3/8" valves and 1/2" line on my trucks. Lots of good brands out there. SMC, GC Xtreme, airride, easystreet, etc.
You'll need water traps for compressors, check valves, switches, air gauges, relays, shocks, link setup, bag brackets for the front, step notch, etc.
I attached a generic air management setup picture.
