You can build your own 4link no problem as long as you have the tools. Its deffinately cheaper and you can build it however you want. Somebody sells a 4link jig ($100 if i femember corcorrectly) though it's not necessary to have if your good with a tape measure. Just make all 4 bars adjustable incase you need to tweak them a little.
I also used cheap monroe shocks on both of our bagged projects and all is great so far. Make sure to not fully compress or extend them since that is what leads to shock failure. Rockauto. Com had shocks for like $12 each

If i could suggest that you should go with a larger air tank, id suggest 10 gallons minimum with 12 preferred and an engine driven compressor with a back up electric viair (stay away from the first Air Zeniths OB1) ... You can never have too much air and eventually you might end up regretting being so limited and having that little compressor running constantly. Lets not forget they are really noisy and have a draw on the mazda's already limited stock electrical supply.
3/8 valves are a good option for in between fast and slow and if they are still too fast you can add lift and dump controls onto the valve assemblies.

I dont agree with bigger is better on airtanks.

I have a cheap trick I use for dump controls on my valves so it airs out slowly and I don't slam my frame on the ground...
I use 3/8 valves and I bought 3/8" plugs. I then drill them out with about an 1/8" hole so the air releases slowly. You can drill it out bigger if needed.

I do like having faster valves for airing up. Especially if you are riding low and see something in the road like road kill. 3/8" do just fine popping it up quickly.

Thats an epic idea! And so what does what does everyone think in should run for tank size?

One or 2 fives with a compressor to each or if u run one five put two compressors on it...

So if I were to run one 5gal tank and two compressors would I have any troubles with lack of air? And how many port tank would I need? Thanks

At least an 8-port tank. I run two compressors on a 7 gallon and I'm happy with that. On my old truck I had an EDC for 10 gallons. I'm not as switch happy anymore though.
2 compressors on 5 gallons should fill pretty quickly. Maybe like 5 min from 0-175psi

Try this air calculator. I'm on my phone and not sure if it still works. My friend Doug created this (he's a genius scientist)

Yeah it works, I clicked the first ? button just to see what it would bring up and it said " If you need help already there is really no hope for you" hahaha

About the air tank and compressors, I just finished hooking up a pair of Viair's in my project Thunderbird with a 5 gallon tank (I will sell it so I can upgrade to a larger tank, PM me if your interested) and the noise is driving me insane, I hate electric compressors and if I had the option of adding an EDC on mine I would do it in a heartbeat. I also have nitrogen plumbed in but it's expensive to refill and it's also dangerous.
