I think I'm addicted to MT. So the latest is someone is holding the Domain Name hostage. What happens to the entire information, folders, threads, etc., it belongs to who?

Why not be nice and give it back? I'm not a Tech-Geek but what's the time frame to renew before it's grabbed by somebody?

No luck for me either - someone dropped the ball and let the domain name expire, and ignored alerts from the domain registrar, as they almost always give a grace period before it expires.

I just did some checking on the MT domain name......you can sign up (and pay something (look's like $20.99) I'm sure) to "backorder" the name and places like GoDaddy.com will negotiate a price with the "Owner" and then you can buy it. I guess that's what K6 is up against now.......you can buy "Mazda-Truck-In.com" for $9.99 right now at GoDaddy's......

I assume all content will be retained? I hope at least... lol. What about google searches etc, I know mazdatruckin was often a top result.

So someone is squatting on the domain? You get reminders 60-90 days before the domain expires kinda odd he just let it expire but even then you have 30 days to reclaim it before its up for grabs.
