i think the paint on the header was burning off.

well, i was goin to try and get it running and timed tonight... but i went to put my new/old exhaust i got off someone and it snapped right at the cat.. so its no good to me now... sux... lol, now im depressed.

fuck the cat, put a straight pipe in its place.....or do u have emmissions tests there?

i got emissions. ill check out what i can do tomorrow, im just pissed now, i dont want to get mad and destroy somthing i spent good money on lol.

ok, so i know it will start, will it be ok to sit for another month or so till i get my engine bay all backtogether and some peices powder coated? i need to take my header off and get that painted before it looks like shit... plus get my core support sand blasted and painted... lol, i got ALOT to do before it gets started again.

Yea it should be fine sitting if u get a chance just start it every once in awhile...

yah start it and run it for 5-10 minutes every week and you should be fine.

wouldn't wanna do that without a header on it though........if you thought it was loud without an exhaust....would be even louder without the header....

not to mention it would probably screw up your motor......

Don't start it without the header on it u will burn up the vavles...

lol, i at least know that much.. i didnt want to start it without a whole exhasut but i know people that ran staright headers and were fine.. so i figured a couple minutes it would be ok.
