ahhh so the thick rubber hose just cut it to your desired length? I get it now. I seen one of those fittings at autozone the non npt end was a little bit bigger than the picture of the one above so just cut that bad boy slide it on that end and what hose clamp it down? How is this on leaks other than that im good to go fellas.

Oh and what side is the side for the air filter and the other for my tank, im guesssing the bigger port size on the compressor is for the tank and the smaller is for the air filter.

Thanks immortal for all the feedback, you have definatly made this alot more understanding.

Bigger tube is the inlet (air filter). Smaller tube is the pressure side (to oil/water seperator). As for leaks at the hose clamp, it really does not matter much. The reed valves in the EDC do leak some and there is not much you can do about it. With that said, you will need a decent check valve between the tank and the EDC.

It gets hot. VERY hot. Just remember that. Make sure the rubber hose can handle the temp.

I am referring to the stock rubber line that comes off the original a/c lines.

immortal, I also got a smc check valve

Good supply of info the ToddLuck found (thumbs up!) May not change a lot of what was said on this thread, but more info is always better.

Seeing as there is a ton of info here regarding EDC, should this be a Sticky???
