Engine Cuts Off When Stopping

i had the prob with not bieng able to idle it up or down it would idle really high or really low then i changed the carb but my carb froze on my chevy (quadra shit ) lol but a weber does help alot

im havin that same problem, its at high idle wen first started and drive it for bout 45 min and go to stop and doesnt stay on unless i hit the gas couple times.

yeah i have that same problem and im runnin a weber 34/36 dgav. still does the same exact thing.

They're not cursed, they're just old, and stuff wears out.

so for the webers the egr should be plugged off and your saying to spray this stuff before start-up of the truck or while running?

i think i figured out the problem on the way to RESO. my truck started doing it again. its the frickin choke. its staying open and starving the truck out. i had to zip tie the bitch shut. it idles high as a mutha when trying to idle normal, but on the road its just fine. just at 'idle' its like 1500rpm or something like that. you can't close it too far or it won't run, but just enough. i've got an electric choke on my 93 b2200. anyone else have an electric choke that's experiencing this issue?

Me my truck is doing the same thing, i haven't been able to work on the thing lately because it has been -9 deg outside. but I am going to take off the egr and clean it out just for the hell of it because it really wouldn't hurt it to do so. Then I'm going to gut my cats, and I will look into doing what you did to your choke, so that it will not stall on me.

Very interesting chart, weird thing is that the stalling issue, which used to happen every couple weeks or so, hasnt happened in several months???
