if really want to get that low but still have some kind of function, get some damn airshocks front and back..so you'll be able to lift it when you need to...you'll see what im talkin about...shit you go through now will be impossible...almost all speedbumps will be hell for you, and if you hit a manhole at 50mph, goodbye engine crossmember

wont you have to make special brackets for the front?on nissans you do...

i allways thought of using air shocks, but my qustion is: how will this lift the ride up, i thought that when you supply the shock with more air it manily kis stiffer. maybe the length would incress just a bit, but i dont see it being enough to lift the truck high enough for speed bumps.
If this is the case then way do people bag there truck?

you wont get the lift of bags with shocks....shocks will lift a lil bit but bags lift pretty high

ok swwet, well i am not shure if i am going to take the torrsions out or drop them all the way down.
Either way it is just going to be like that for about 2 months, then i am going to bag it.

Air shocks have about 2-3 inches of travel from empty to full.

Here's what mine looked like after the torsions, bump stops were takin out and 3in blocks and 1 leaf spring in it. Drove for almost a year like that. Only had about 1in from frame to the ground!!!

my first maz had air shocks front and back. im old schoolin here. i got about 3" of lift. and yes it rides like a log. you can also go lower if you re-index your torsions. loosen them up then pull them out and reinsert so you dont rip them out. i have done this and it sucks.

i had mine loosened right off but i railed it on a speed bump and got stuck, and bent the crap out of it, now i have none, why bother they were just in the way, it is low as hell and looks awsome, the ride is really bad, but im about looks not function, i went as far as to pulling the front bump stops out and laying control arm on frame, its low and looks awsome
