so how long are the torsion bar bolts in front? and also how would i take the bars off... yet still have a good camber?

well the camber is kinda bad, but get aligned and they can fix some of it

how far can i loosen the torsion bar Bolts, how far can i drop the truck, how long are the bolts?

i think they are like 6 inches or so, i took out the whole bump-stop so the control rests on the bump-stop bracket, it'll give it some tuck that way,
but be careful doing it, when i was doing it i had it on a drive-on hoist and was doing it from below, and i busted one of the bolts and it threw the tools outta my hand and jarred my wrist pretty good, also slammed the truck down real hard, but it was worth it cause it looked awsome.

so now im alot more cautious working on torsions

so i can take my torsion bars OFF and just run it like that? on the bumpstops?

you can and if you're that low might as well take off the bumpstops too.

the ride is terrible and the camber will eat up your tires. you have no shock at all and when going over bumps, the wheels may come off the ground.

when going over speed bumps (depending on how low you are in the back) you might get stuck.

i'm not trying to scare you but just trying to let you know what you can expect.

i ran my truck like that for a while before i saved up for hydraulics. i would recommend air shocks if you plan on running this type of setup for an extended period of time.

I didn't think you could just remove the torsion bars withouth some kind of suspension in there.... cause when my torsion bracket broke on my old old mazda it was dragging. Which was awesome till i realized that it didn't have bags.

i just yanked my bars out. the first bolt ground down and my option was fixing it or ripping the other one out so i'd be level.

i unscrewed the second one and never looked back.

right on.. lol.. i stand corrected.. just thought they needed some kind of suspension.

so i can just take my bars totally off the truck? just run the front crossmember? i will be getting airshocks asap...
