5 lug conversion tip/question

I posted a topic a while back about a five lug conversion for the mazdas well heres what i found out

front : you can purchase new control by barnyard customs @ or i was looking in a minitrucking magizine and apparentally you can change the ball joint to a toyota pickup 86-94 model with aq little fabrication work i looked at it just looks like redrilling the holes for the bolts for the ball joint that wat you can run a toyota spindle the tie rod ends im not to sure about but if anyone needs to see the pics let me know

rear : 86-94 toyota rearend however you have to change the spline for the drive shaft other than that it should bolt up

apparently you can run early year astro spindals w/ factory mazda control arms.. i don't know which years.. but it would be bolt on. And the BYC arms are bad ass, but quality work takes a while.. so do expect a wait on the parts, and Mike White will tell you straight up how long your wait is. And the BYC arms can be made to fit s10 spindals or toyota spindals.

only prob is tie rod ends if you are doing yota spindles...mazdas and yotas dont match, takes little bit more work

oh ok do you know what all you have to do to be able to make the tie rods work?

Cant you just get the Yota hubs?

you can't cause the bearings aren't the same

the easiest way really is to get the stock mazda hub redrilled to 5lug

no the easiest way to do it is aerostar minivan hubs

I dont know if the aerostar hubs are the easiest way to go... I have been doing a lot of looking around and there was a thread on ssm about aerostar hubs. A few people have tried it and say that the bearings are loose.. I think i am going to just redrill, cause i have not seen any physical evidence that the aerostar conv. really works.. I am sure it does if you get the right year of hubs.. If anyone knows what year of aero is needed let me know

yea the aerostar hubs up front and the rear hubs redrilled would be easiest and cheapest
