So i am doin a torsion bag set up for the first time and i am wondering what the long skinny piece of metal with the bend on one end is for...i understand the upper bracket and the lower plate...but wtf is this baracket for??

i understand they go on the bottom arm under the plate...but are they needed i see alot of people dont run them..

goes on the lower control arm, to keep the bag away from the balljoint bolts and the knuckle

werd. And it helps to level out the bottom of the bag when it's fully compressed.

those lower L bracket things are huge, you could bag a semi with them. i've bought 2 sets of these brackets and have 2 sets of those L things laying around.

same with me never use the darn things, I just use the circle plate and some scrape steel to level out the bottom and make sure that the bag is perfectly straight when collapsed.

Like BagdB2200, L bar gets welded to the LCA to make the bottom plate parallel with the top plate when the bag is compressed.
