Please pardon my ignorance, but what are the consequences if you don't cut that section out of the lower control arm? Or if you don't trim out the center of the upper control arm as well? I'm sure you won't be able to lay the frame flat out, but I guess what I'm asking is, how low can you get without cutting a section out of the upper and lower control arms?

When I did my first air ride in my mazda I was running 195 50 15's flipped ball joints and no drop spindles and I had left the bottom contril arm alone and the frame and my front end layed out sat about 3/4 to 1 off the ground.
