Yeah,those pumps have built in dumps,so it doesn't have the dumps and hoses on top.The things on top are the solinoids for the dumps on the inside.I like these pumps cause they give you a clean look without all the bulky stuff on top.

Have seen similar setups like that over the years (air over hydros). have also seen remote springs (similar to the photo above, except coil springs instead of bags) Hydro pump is "tee'd" into the jumper line. makes for a compact & unique setup. Can also put your shocks mounted sideways next to the remote spring - very cool & good ride.

i've been thinking of a way to run torsion bars with hydraulic rams under the cab mounted to the end of the torsion bar, to raise and lower, and still get that nice factory ride. just need to get shorter shocks... and your done. i dunno how well it'd work, it'd be a limited travel type of operation, but different...

it's been done before i know of a Nissan and a toyota with that set up.
