I'm hoping fer some real info here, I am considering what size of wheels to buy and I need to know how to set up the front suspension,
Currently rollin static will bag later, have drop spindles, not installed yet,

How much backspacing is required ?mm to equal original or factory offset?
What width of rim is reccomended?

lookin at these BOSS 315

i think you need 6 backspace for 18

that was random... it really depends on the width of the wheel to determine how much backspace you need. the diameter has nothing to do with it...
for the front go as narrow as possible. there's no reason to run a wide wheel and tire anyway. only more headaches and tracking problems. you can remove your wheel and hang a plumbob from the inside of the outer fender and measure to the wheel mounting surface. that'll give your your frontspace in inches (same as offset) be sure to give yourself a little room for tire bulge.

most times your backspacing on an 7.5 wide rim is between 5 1/2 inches to 5 3/4 inches but that also is determined if you are using drop spindles 2wd fenders or 4x4 fenders and as already mentioned tire bulge but read in mini truckin peoples breakdown of they're rides sometimes they tell you what backspacing they use.

The only possible 18" Boss wheel that you will be able to tuck is the one or two wheels they have in 18x8" with a +40 offset

thankz thats kinda what I was lookin fer guys, I dug out the MINI Truckin issue wheels and tires galore, and there s lotsa good info there too,the one with the DIB green (nov 06) nissan on the front, The info there is Mazda 77'-93' offset 0-25 mm bolt pattern 6x139.7(6x5.5)

the narrowest wheels are the best way to go fer sure, I was also wondering what those of you who are runnin 18's have done wit yer suspension set up.

I got what I wanted and I saved alot of cash!

That'll tuck, but you're gonna have to flare your bedsides a little bit to keep the tire off of it.

thanks, yeh I figured it should work so long as I dont git too wide with rubber.
And I basically will build the truck/ suspension around them,
