okay..... when you "r&r'd" the bearing and race, did you check and top off the diff. lube after the repair?? I assume that you also replaced the seal... Pulling the plug off and lookin' in might not be enough. I would pull the cover off the rear-end and physically check the gears in there. If it's low on fluid, it more than likely won't show you anything by just pulling the plug. The problems you describe don't really sound like a trans/clutch/flywheel problem, from my experience anyway. If the rear-end's good, you might want to look into your motor mounts too.
