Does anyone run a drop spindle with a lower flipped ballpoint and notched upper with air bags?
Just wondering what combination's of front modifications people are running and for what reasons.
Is having 2" drop spindles desirable with an air ride setup?

Thanks in advance

Running drop spindles is the preferred method. With the spindles, you will run correct camber and will be easier to align and is also much safer.

With spindles you will not need to notch anything or flip balljoints. All the other ways other than using spindles are just half assed and slightly unsafe.

cody have you cranked your torsion bars down at all?

with spindles and the bars cranked, you have no reason to have your balljoints flipped.

On Kermit I ran spindles with cranked bars and it rode like a Cadillac. When I had flipped bjs and cranked bars, I had massive neg camber and chewed through a set of tires in 150 miles.

no i havent touch torsion bars. i got new ball joints with my spindles and for it all to work together i had to flip the ball joints. after i got it aligned it was fine. does wear through tires as much now. i wasnt planning on flipping the ball joints but i really need new ones and that was the only what it would work. thats how the directions said to install them too. so thats what i did. the ride is fine.

how big of rim do you plan on running? I lay out on 17's without issue and no flipped bj's or drop spindles. My upper arms are pie cut to take away some of the camber when the truck is low, but other than that it is still in stock geometry. Remember that the drop spindles push each side out a 1/2" so wheel offset must be watched also.

good point. with a static drop, my escalades rubbed even on 4x4 fenders.

mine still rub with 4x4 fenders too. my side walls are pretty fat though.

Alright rad!

I'm not a fan of AIRBAGIT.com but are the spindles they carry quality?
who makes a quality spindle for the mazda?

my lowers are already notched and flipped
if he unflip them and just rock spindles will the control arms still be strong enough
for air ride or should i be running to the wrecker for new lowers to weld my
bag brackets to?

thanks
