Yeah it all answered my questions. The balljoint mountin and the brake line was what I was wondering bout. Also way about the tie rods they bolt up no problem? Did you have to turn them in or out to meet the Toyota spindle or is the Toyota mount about in the same spot as the mazda?

with the bag..... no not yet it only hits it when Im at full steer so its not very often that I hit it... just get to remember that it will... im try to come up with a way to get it to stop right befor it hits, like just make the steer stop taller maybe......as for the tierods i got 4x4 tierods on it to make it work(not sure if they are biger but it did seem to fit better then the ones I had...they where old)and I found a sleev that was the same size as the hole and put it in to take up the slake( mazda tierods are smaller around then the toyota hole) but like I said the 4x4 fit better and I did have to scew it all the way in then backed it out till it was right, but you should be able to get it with out haveing to cut or anything on the tierods..... you will need to ether get drop spindles or cut a small notch in the side of the frame to clear the tierods or you will hit them and break them ......... bad jojo.... did it ,not fun....
plus it looks like maybe the tierods are at there limits but it is working so far and have not had any probs out of it yet,as in breaking from to much psi. on them.....just cant steer when on the ground..

ya Im going to wash it soon.... I was working on it at the time she kicked me out so it was a rush to get it back together so I could leave and didnt get to clean any of it.......yay

Just wondering if i just flip BJ's and do torsions for about 4 inch overall drop in the front can i get the front end alianed where it will not chew up tires?

you should be able to get it close if not right on i got mine close and its fully bagged, now there are no shops here that will do one after it is baged, so how close im not sure, but it dont eat tires that bad.........now you will have camber and that alone eats tire not bad but it will, as long as you get the toe in/out right you should be happy with the over all

another way to fix camber issues is with drop control arms.

i dont thank they do... at lis the ones i had didnt, all they did was take the ball jount and rise it up, there for moving the whole spindle and top arm up makeing the top arm come in giving camber..... not sure if this is all arms or just the ones i got from djm...

okay for one I have put drop spindles on almost every truck i have built with air ride and I have never had a problem with losing lift and yes by flipping your upper ball joints you are putting stress more on the ball joint than on the arm. The lowers with the new ball joints you get with the drop spindles are alot stronger but should be put on the top of the control arm. And mikey crazeymikey i did your trucks front end and yes he went through a set of new tires in less then a week. i did cids truck and did drop spindles and air on it and had no camber issues at all layed out or up no wear at all on the tires. You have to make a good plan and have everything together or atleast really planned out. and mikey you are lucky you are not here I would slap you silly for cutting springs Ha ha ha ha you know what i think of half assing things.

well i did the flip and have no prob's out of it, and have been runing it for 8 years, yes spindle s are the beeter way to go but i said befor if i wanted to i can get spindles and put 24's on it and still lay out, my ball jounts are in no way unsafe, they are now just like a fords

Ok I have three inch drop spindles and was gonna use them up front with my bag setup so basically what you guys are saying they are not needed if I am only running 17inch escalade wheels to lay itout on the frame and do the fender wells have to be removed or no thanks in advance for any response to my qeustion

yes spindles are unneeded to run a 17, i had 18's the top arm was not cut and redone so my jounts were at the max but if you cut and reangle the top arm ball jount you will be fine and yes you will need to cut the inerfenders out
