well thanks alot bro..lookedlike i have to cut them out..that "L" bar is welded to the hinges thats right?....is that there to add strenght to it all
yeah i just welded in a piece of angle iron inbetween the 2 hinges for strength, and even if they start to sag over time they will still be level with eachother cause it's like one solid piece now.
well i placed my hinges closer to the outter metal outside the doorlip and tacked them in but i feel my door has flexed alot and the door might be to damaged to work...it still rubs but im assuming its cuz my door has felxed alot...also do i have to move the hinges closer towards the front of the vechile...any help would be great thanks
moving them closer to the front will just make the pivot point smaller and the doors won't swing out as wide, move the higes in deeper towards the back.
mine open the full 90 degress with no problem but i did a lot of reading about it and how-to's before i started cutting, even though i had to cut them out and redo everyhing, did you weld braces on your door? that should help a lot and reduce flexing.

not tryi to jack the thrad but my doors do the same thing and they only open about 45 degees before they hit the cab and the passenger door gets stuck on the lower part of the cab any suggestions?
this picture shows how deep my hinges are, check yours to see where they are at?
I bought my kit from FBI but they are all basically the same from what i've seen.
The first bolt hole is in-line with the pinch weld.
my first hole sits 1/2 inch outward from were yours sit at in the picture u have on display...mine are also closer together like 11 inchs not 12 inch apart like urs..so they sit closer together..not sure if that makes any difference..well im gonna scrape my door and use my spare and brace the door more....the first time it wasnt fully welded in so im guessing that why its so worped...
they look like you mounted them to far back in the cab part of the door. Can you take a pic of the hinges when the door would be open so I can see how the hinges them selves look. I can tell then exactly how much more they should be sitting or not sitting.
