suicide door rub

Cid and I are actually talking about making a kit that takes all the guess work out of it and all the measuring is already done for you except the placement of the door work.

the way dragginmazda86 did his suicide doors is the best possible way for a mazda that is. you will bet better results and clearance issues are greatly reduced,

If i were ever to do suicide doors again that's how i would do them even though better apart is better, it's just so much harder to get them to work right on the mazda's.

so if anyones thinking about doing them look at some of "dragginmazda86" pictures.

hey i never said that dragginmazda86 were wrong I think he did an awsome job . but I have seen and talked with people that have had them that close together and down the road had problems but drag did write he did extra re-inforcement and the way he did his door has made it alot stronger he did go that extra few steps.

Blackhulk: it sucks you are having su much problems with you hinges, I had my hinges for a long time before growing the nuts to try to attempt them, sure I did the bodydrop and back half but in my eyes I was affraid to screw up my cab and seeing meesh's thread made me try it out. Meesh: I know you had some problems with you door seal possibly leaking due to your hinge placement and it was to late for me to point that out when I seen your pics so when I did mine i took that into consideration. I hope you got the sealing issue taken care of. v8mazda4ever: Thanks for looking out, I only hope I don't have problems down the road but only time will tell. I was only going to do the drivers door but i might do the passenger door also. Blackhulk I hope you get everything worked out I will try to help as best as i can, but to be honest practice helped me out a lot and you may laugh but heres a pic of what i mean by "practice" every thing was just tack welded but I got the idea of the placement I needed.
