ill have to check mine out in the afternoon tomoro. and the driver door sticks out about .5i or so when closed all the way what could that be from

that means the actual piece that you welded into your door wasn't set in deep enough, that's actually quite a lot and will need a lot of modifying.

The hinge pockets in my door are about 3/8 of an inch from the window. Hers a few pics of mine. Also check out my thread titled " my suicide door attempt".

dragginmazda86 your doors look good bro but I would have mounted the hinges farther apart as down the road you will find they will start saging abit the father apart the hinges the better the support and wieght displacement. how do the doors look when closed bro
dragginmazda86 (dave)   +1y
^^ yeah you stated that to me before. I wish I could have spaced them a little farther apart but with a traditional body drop and keeping the stock 7 inch seatbelt assembly thats the best I could do. The bottom hinge assembly on the cab sit's rigt on top of the seatbelt assembly. I plated the back side of the door jamb with 1/8 plate then once I had the hinges welded in I welded two supports to the back wall of the cab. I have talked to a few people that have had there hinges around the same distance without a problem. The door doesn't sag when opened and when closed has a consistant 1/4 inch gap all around. Thanks for looking out thoughh.

Okay blackhulk it looks to me that your lower hinges is sitting abit back from the top one and they do look like the hinge them selves are out alot but other than that it's the bottom bucket and hinge to me pm me a number to call you and we can talk.

well my best plan of action was to cut the whole thing and replace the door striker panel for a fresh restart on the hinges
