Shaved handle question?

i've seen it done and it doesn't work too bad..the only thing i'd be worried about is the truck being brokrn into..the damn theives have a tendicy to push the damn lock thru the door to break in and then you might have a serious problem...

Wow, I must be really old, lol. I must have done well over 100 of them for customers using the lock tumblers, way back in the 80's. That was the thing to do back then. I never did it to my own rigs though, I still prefer electric personally. I never liked the locks still there, if your going to shave something, shave everything, lol.

i read this at work but never bothered to look at the date it was posted, this thing is old.

anyway, if someone is interested my locks were exactly what he was asking for, shaved handles, using the lock to unlatch the door. worked fine for me, i did this in '89.
