rca's and power should be ran on opposite sides of the truck, as long as your ground is good then you wont have a whine from the motor... the remote can be ran anywhere theres less than 1volt there

Can't you also get a noise filter or something to help with that? I had to do that with the Mazda because the AC made the air gauges shut off, no matter how I wired it.

sorry if im typing too fast lol, subject i enjoy...a lot. i have always loved sealed no matter what but for my mazda im going ported because i want more cab pressure.... 6 ports to be exact... muhahahahaha

those are called "ground loop isolators" lame and complete waste of money... the whine is from your alt. you engine has good grounds you wont have any problems with whine.

Honestly I don't listen to that much rap, but since my CDs got stolen out of the Mustang (all 350) I have started to more so. I listen to Andre and Tech N9ne and Snoop, Three Six Mafia, and thats about all I like that I've heard.

But I'm still gonna have to say Sublime is by far my favorite band ever, and their music has a lot of bass. Then after that Primus and the other Claypool projects, also very bassy. What can I say, I like bass a lot? Even have a few bass guitars if that tells you anything.

Well I'm sure glad you know because I sure as shit don't. For some reason audio and wiring stuff has always been over my head.

Oh and also with a sealed enclosure you will be able to turn up your amp a lil more it actually helps the power handling, your speakers cant flew as much so you can push them a lil harder... also its a lot easier to build, when doing ported you need to measure depths of ports and stuff to determine what frequency your stereo will sound best at.

THD defined...
Total harmonic distortion (THD): Refers to a device adding harmonics that were not in the original signal. For example: a device that is fed a 20Hz sine wave that is also putting out 40Hz, 80Hz etc. Not usually a factor in most modern electronics, but still a significant design problem in loudspeakers

why i like sealed..

Sealed enclosure: An air tight enclosure that completely isolates the back wave of the driver from the front. Very tight, defined sound (with Qtc = 0.707) with very good transient response and power handling.

why im going with ported in my dawg..
Ported Enclosure: A type of speaker enclosure that uses a duct or port to improve efficiency at low frequencies.

its gonna be a competer
