I suck at this part...

So sealed is probably best? Is a Skilsaw or saw table and a router enough to build a box? How do you angle the edges of the boards to attach the front piece?

And can you get the board at Home Depot? MDF right? Like 3/4".

I'm kind of lost on how to mount it to the floor. There isn't a flat area anywhere in the back of my cab.

angles are done on a table saw just set the angle you want and cut, and those tools are plenty to do the job. yea 3/4" mdf is fine, you will only need one sheet, and kragen sells carpet or whatever you wanna wrap it in...i have a table saw and a jiggsaw. its all i use

So what do you do to cut the hole? Drill a hole and then use the jigsaw? I don't have one of those, grandpa might though. I know he has a router, and my dads got a saw table, and theres a busted ass Skilsaw under my bench.

I might just have mine covered in Vynil if I'm feeling up to it. To match the seat maybe. I don't like the feel of that carpet stuff.

yep, drill a pilot hole somewhere on the cutting line and jigsaw away lol, if you dont have one a cheap one will work fine... usually the speakers come with a template... shouldnt be a problem on the circle drawing.... haha i usually use a bucket or a strainer cuz they are always perfect circles...lol im ghetto like that haha. im not a big fan of vynil but it will look good with your bench matching

Well I don't really want to spend the money on leather for a wooden box you know? Lol. I think I'm gonna order them today and give it a shot. Maybe I can get a system in my truck before I get that 55 project..

I picked up an amp wiring kit today. I think I'm gonna wire ti up and hook it up to one of the 10s I have in a box and see how it sounds.

Anyways, my friend came over today and we hooked up the amp and hooked it to my 10 thats in a truck box to see how it sounds. It sounds pretty good, but you can hear some of the treble and lyrics through the sub. Is that normal? It sounds really good and clear, a lot better than before with just speakers.
